Collaborative Investment In Regenerative Solutions

In 2021, Callus Family Office partnered with a German impact fund and a Dutch family office to invest €6 million in a regenerative agriculture technology company developing soil sensors and data analytics for farmers transitioning to carbon-sequestering practices.

The co-investment structure allowed us to access a larger opportunity than we would pursue independently while sharing due diligence efforts and domain expertise across partners. Our contribution focused on commercial strategy and network access within the Baltics, where adoption of precision agriculture tools remained nascent.

The company deployed its technology across 18,000 hectares in its first two years, demonstrating measurable improvements in soil health and verifiable carbon sequestration. Callus Family Office facilitated pilots with three agricultural cooperatives in Estonia and Latvia, providing both commercial validation and regional case studies for the company’s sales efforts.

By 2024, the technology had expanded to over 85,170 hectares across six European countries. Independent analysis estimated cumulative carbon sequestration of 47,300 tonnes CO₂e, with participating farms reporting average yield stability improvements of 12%.

This investment demonstrates how collaboration with aligned partners enables Callus Family Office to support solutions at meaningful scale while maintaining focus on environmental outcomes.

Outcome: 2.9x current valuation multiple; 85,170 hectares under regenerative management; 47,300 tonnes CO₂e sequestered; strengthened agricultural resilience across participating regions.
